There was no other vocation that could give me that opportunity to impact our future generation irrespective of color or race than to teach.  I believe every child deserves an opportunity and I am going to make that happen by inspiring and working hard with our Kirkpatrick family. I believe all students learn in their own unique way.  As a dyslexia specialist, I am here to help students unlock the code of reading using a research based scientific, multi-sensory approach.  Once students can decode and read more fluently, then they can free up more of their cognitive energy to focus on understanding what they read! I want to empower students and help  boost their confidence in literacy  while helping them discover the joy of reading and writing!
