Dr. Christine Hooser-Kelley, Principal

Dr. Christine Kelley, a native of Italy, Texas, received a bachelor's degree from Texas Woman’s University in 2006 and a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Tarleton State University in 2009. She then went on to complete post-master’s certifications in both teaching and administration. In 2021, she completed a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Technology at Tarleton.

Since 2009, Dr. Kelley has proudly served the students and teachers of Fort Worth ISD. She began as a fourth-grade teacher at Worth Heights Elementary, where she was honored to receive the TMATE-FWISD Outstanding Intern Award. Later, she had the privilege of supporting early career teachers as a New Teacher Induction Specialist. Most recently, she served as assistant principal at Charles E. Nash Elementary. Dr. Kelley looks forward to serving the students, teachers, and families of the M.L. Kirkpatrick Community.

Dr. Kelley has been married to her husband, Patrick, for almost 20 years. They live in Weatherford with their rescue dog, Harlie.

I believe that all children have the potential to learn and achieve academic success. My goal is to create a nurturing and safe environment where all children will learn, while building honorable characters in diverse communities, making progress and being successful. I would like to empower all students to develop and achieve individual academic success, attain emotional and physical heights in a world that is characterized by accelerating change.
